The USD 421

Professional Development Council...

is a representative committee of teachers, administrators, and the board of education.  The purpose of the group is to plan, organize, coordinate, and manage professional development activities for the Lyndon Public Schools in accordance with the regulations for the State of Kansas for teacher re-licensure and professional development.

Notice to certified teachers living in the USD 421 district boundaries but not currently employed in a Kansas school district:

Certified teachers living in the USD 421 district who are not currently employed by a Kansas school district are eligible to file a professional development plan with the district's local professional development council for licensure renewal purposes. Those individuals not employed by USD 421 will be required to reimburse the district for expenses incurred by USD 421. Information regarding the USD 421 Multi-year Professional Development Plan and Local Guidelines are available by contacting the USD 421 PDC Chairperson.  newtonj@usd421.k12.ks.us
